Course Description

Students will draft and refine pieces for specific writing contests while learning about the publishing world, popular genres, common contest themes, and a variety of literary forms. The final portfolio will consist of short stories, poetry, and essays that the student can confidently submit to writing contests, giving them the edge with college admissions boards.
